2025 Goals — Creating Equal Access to Education - Achieved!
Expanding the Girls Dormitory
Creating space for 50 additional boarding students. For every boarding student enrolled, a scholarship will be provided to a low-income day student.
C$24,000 raised for construction of the new dormitory
C$2,500 raised to purchase 25 bunk beds
Construction of the new Girls Dormitory was completed in August 2026

Revitalize and restock the fish ponds
Direct local profits toward daily operations of Buiga Sunrise CBO
Student Food Security Initiative
Clear the non-productive tea plantation and plant 2 acres of crops for student meals
Reduce food costs while improving student nutrition
These goal are in progress thanks to a generous grant from the Ptarmigan Family Foundation - projects kickstarted in September 2026!
Reopening Grace Family Clinic as a sustainable Level 3 health facility

New partnerships have been formed with Malaria Partners International, the Rotary Clubs of Kampala and the Ministry of Health.
A fundraising dinner is planned for October 3 in Nelson BC to support clinic restoration efforts. We’re working on it!
