Grace Family Health Centre
Status
Grace Family Health Centre is currently closed for restructuring. A gradual reopening is planned for November 2026—please stay tuned for updates.
Grace Family Health Centre was the second project funded by Sunrise Centre. It was established in response to a community-identified need for maternal care, after several students at Buiga Sunrise School lost their mothers during childbirth. Built in 2009 with a single ward for expectant mothers, the clinic gradually expanded to offer a broader range of services, becoming an important access point for affordable family healthcare.
Due to limited funding and evolving community needs, the clinic is temporarily closed as we reassess and restructure in alignment with our commitment to sustainability and local empowerment.
